ALICE COOPER To Guest On NBC-TV's 'Carson Daly', CBS-TV's 'Craig Ferguson'
April 26, 2007The following message was posted on ALICE COOPER's MySpace page:
"Alice will be appearing on 'The Carson Daly Show' on evening of April 30th on NBC (U.S.). Alice will be appearing on 'The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson' on the evening of May 4 on CBS (U.S). Check your local listings for time and channel.
"The 'Psycho-Drama' tour will be starting off in South America in May and will continue to Mexico, Australia, Europe, N. America and wrapping up in November in the U.K. Stay tuned for tour dates. Alice will continue to work with the band on the newest album during the tour and it should come out later this year."
Back in February, Alice Cooper's said his new album would be out in May, but it now appears that, while all the material is written, Cooper hasn't even started recording it yet. At this time, he's not expected to hit the studio until later this year, though nothing's set in stone — including the announced title, "Along Came a Spider".
Alice's annual world tour gets underway May 28 in Santiago, Chile, and he's got a U.K. tour in November. North American dates haven't been announced yet.
As previously reported, Cooper's autobiography, which is called "Alice Cooper, Golf Monster: A Rock 'N'Roller's 12 Steps To Becoming A Golf Addict", will be available on May 1.
With a title like that, it should be no surprise that Cooper told Launch his game is very strong. "Three handicap, and I play five times a week, and I play really good," he laughed. "Yeah, that's the one thing I can really do, other than Alice Cooper. That surprises people, I think. They just can't believe that Alice Cooper could be a three handicap, but I am." A three handicap means Cooper's score will be three strokes above whatever the course's par is.
